Disney Theme Park Vacation Tips

While spending the day in Epcot in the hot weather, when my feet are hot from the pavement, I always change to another pair of socks and sprinkle on some baby powder. It's a quick refresher.

If you are not going to ride an attraction with your family, meet them in the ride'sair-conditioned gift shop. Most rides have a gift shop into which the ride will exit, so it's a convenient place to meet up with your family.

I am not a "ride person," so when we are atthe parks at night I'm usually waiting somewhere in the crowdwhen my husband and son come off the rides. I stock up on glowsticks at our local dollar store, and as long as I remember whatcolor my son is wearing, can spot him easily, especially when hewaves it in the air! Perhaps I should be wearing one as well?

Disney Theme Park Vacation Tips

My husband and I just returned from our honeymoon at WDW and had a MAGICAL time! One thing that I would like to share concerns the "Magical Wishes" pins that you can pick up from Guest Relations at the theme parks. My advice is that everyone celebrating a special event -- honeymoon, anniversary, birthday -- pick up one of these buttons. Everywhere we went in WDW we were warmly congratulated by Cast Members! We had an incredible time! I would recommend WDW to anycouple who wants a truly special honeymoon!

Disney Theme Park Vacation Tips

I would suggest people go to see Fantasmic! at the Studios during the week (not weekends) and early in the week (Mon, Tues or Wed). We went Monday night for the 7:30 show, got there at 6:45 and all nine of us were sitting in the Pocahontas section (just left of center). Our seats were fabulous and the kids could see everything. I was talking to some other guests later in the week who went to see it on Friday night and at 6:30 p.m. the four of them had to sit in the far right section!

Do the shows at Disney-MGM Studios early, since they close earlier in the day. We missed a couple because we didn't try to see them until later.
